Mario Alvarez is a National Level table tennis coach and professional athlete that competes for the Nicaraguan National Table Tennis Team.
Mario has a background as a clinical psychologist that allows him to help you develop your mental game, which is a huge part of helping you compete in matches as well as you do in training.
Since the Taiwan University Olympics and the USA Open in Las Vegas in 2017, Mario Álvarez has not competed in a high-level table tennis tournament. The Nicaraguan based in the United States will measure his potential again in an event that brings together renowned players from around the world and will give points for the world ranking.
Álvarez will be the only Nicaraguan table tennis player and, probably, from Central America who will participate in the WTT Feeder Fremont, which will be in California between May 5 and 8, a tournament organized by World Table Tennis (WTT for its acronym in English). and endorsed by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) to promote professional events in the world.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
Mario was the first table tennis athlete in the history of Nicaragua to participate in one of the most important multi-sport events in the world called the University Olympics in 2017 held in Taipei, Taiwan. He also had the honor of being the “flag bearer” for his delegation.
